Brittanicus Base was an establishment in Great Britain commanded by Clent during the Ice Age of the year 5000. The site of the base was a historical site.
Brittanicus Base was set up to house an ioniser device used to combat the advance of a glacier during the Ice Age. Varga and his Ice Warriors attempted to destroy Brittanicus Base, but were defeated by the Second Doctor. (TV: The Ice Warriors)
