The Illixtrians were a species with tentacles.
Two Illixtrians were imprisoned, along with Lucie Miller, on the Illixtrians' planet. The first time the trio tried to escape, Albumen was killed by the machine guards. The other Illixtrian and Lucie tried without success to escape several more times. The Illixtrian became inspired by Lucie's belief that the Eighth Doctor wasn't dead and that he would come to rescue them before their scheduled execution. (PROSE: The Great Escapes)
