Bio-damper: Difference between revisions

(There's no evidence that Trueman actually had a bio-damper. It's by far more likely that it was the AL's origins that made him undetectable as this is what prevented Mr Smith from detecting his effects, in both the jacket and Clyde.)

A bio-damper. (TV: The Runaway Bride)

A bio-damper was a device which could be as small as a ring, that masked the bio-signature of an individual. However, they were ineffective against Huon particles. (TV: The Runaway Bride)

History

The Tenth Doctor gave Donna Noble a bio-damper so that she would be hidden from the Racnoss. He later realised it was ineffective against tracing the Huon particles inside her. (TV: The Runaway Bride)

When investigating Martin Trueman, Sarah Jane Smith suspected that he used a bio-damper to hide any alien energies and reset her Scanner watch to search for bio-damper interference patterns. Instead, it was because the Ancient Lights inside him were undetectable by the watch, similar to Mr Smith's inability to detect them. (TV: Secrets of the Stars)

In 2010, Gavin wore a bio-damper ring he inherited from his father which hid his alien origins. (TV: The Empty Planet)

A bracelet worn by Ruby White incorporated a bio-damper in order to disguise her Qetesh biology. (TV: Goodbye, Sarah Jane Smith)
