Selene was a Olympian. (COMIC: The Life Bringer) She was worshipped by the Greeks as goddess of the moon, until Artemis took over that position in later classical poetry. Selene fell in love with the young prince Endymion and visited him after he was put into an eternal slumber by Zeus.
