Prelude Nightshade was, as the name suggested, a prelude to Nightshade by Mark Gatiss. It was a short scene which featured Edmund Trevithick and did not appear in the published novel. It was the first prelude of a Virgin New Adventures novel published in Doctor Who Magazine.
Summary
Edmund Trevithick gives a performance as Professor Nightshade, in which the character is worried about his missing rocket crew. Afterwards, he and a fellow actor leave for a pint. He wonders how long his fame will last.
