A sailor was a member of the crew serving under Trask aboard the Annabelle.
When the Second Doctor boarded the ship, the sailor and another crewmember captured him and took him to Trask and Grey. The Doctor claimed Bonnie Prince Charlie was aboard the ship and took them to the hold, where the prisoners had been freed and were waiting in ambush.
After Grey and Trask had been defeated and Willie Mackay was back in command of the ship, the crew agreed to serve under him and help take the Highlanders to France. (TV: The Highlanders)
