The amnesia effect seems to operate separately from any energy discharges. Missy and the Master, for instance, didn't have any visible problem with touching each other (or trying to strangle each other :-D), but I'm FAIRLY sure that Missy, as usual with multi-Doctor episodes, didn't remember what was going to happen or who Mr Razor was, despite having been through it before as the Master (though you can never be quite sure what Missy's thinking). Does this effect have a separate name or entry, and if not, should it be sorted out from the rest a bit more clearly on this page? | The amnesia effect seems to operate separately from any energy discharges. :By your own admission, you're speculating, which this wikia highly advises we don't do; if we don't have concrete evidence for it, we can't put it in the article. ::Silly piece of headcanon removed, sorry, it was late at night. But I'm putting the rest back as I'd say it is relevant to a discussion page, irrespective of the silly piece of headcanon. Point I was wondering about is, whether the amnesia effect and its appearances could do with clearer pointing out in the page - at present it's lumped in with the electrical discharges, which definitely do not necessarily coincide with it. Removed bad external link[[edit source]]
Removed this section, as the only link in it at the very least does not work on my computer. Saving it here in hopes that the page still exists and somebody knows what it wrong with it.

Amelia and Amelia[[edit source]]
Because that Amelia that Amy interacted with during the Big Bang was an alternate version of her, I don't think it would be an exact copy, so I don't think it should count.– The preceding unsigned comment was added by PerseusOswinArtemisRemus (talk • contribs) .
Amnesia[[edit source]]
The amnesia effect seems to operate separately from any energy discharges. Missy and the Master, for instance, didn't have any visible problem with touching each other (or trying to strangle each other :-D), but I'm FAIRLY sure that Missy, as usual with multi-Doctor episodes, didn't remember what was going to happen or who Mr Razor was, despite having been through it before as the Master (though you can never be quite sure what Missy's thinking). Does this effect have a separate name or entry, and if not, should it be sorted out from the rest a bit more clearly on this page? And do other characters beside the Doctor and the Master, e.g. companions, show this effect when they cross their own timeline (i.e. that the younger version won't remember anything about it afterwards)? - By your own admission, you're speculating, which this wikia highly advises we don't do; if we don't have concrete evidence for it, we can't put it in the article. Snivystorm ☎ 00:10, February 1, 2018 (UTC)
- Silly piece of headcanon removed, sorry, it was late at night.
