Gabriella "Gabi" Martinez was a member of Torchwood Los Angeles in the 1970s.
Gabi was an accomplished stunt driver and mechanic who joined Torchwood after she came across and helped to repair an alien machine; she had a knack for instinctively working out how to use alien technology.
While investigating the disappearance of Valerie Fox, Gabi went undercover as a concerned roommate of Valerie's who was trying to locate her whereabouts. She allowed herself to be taken out to lunch by Don Donohue to probe him for information, and to give her teammates Marlow Sweet and Charlotte Du Bujeau time to search his office.
