The Mighty Stromboli was a weightlifter in the Night Travellers and therefore in the employ of the Ghostmaker. He travelled with the Ghostmaker's troupe, billed as the Joshua Joy Travelling Show, and was trapped on film with the other Night Travellers when film and cinema killed off the travelling shows.
After the Ghostmaker and Pearl escaped the film, they released Stromboli and the other Night Travellers by playing the film in the Electro.
