The Scoundrels Club was one of London’s oldest, most exclusive private members’ clubs. Christopher Marlowe was a founding member. It had a view of St James's Park.
The Master was a member of the club since the Great Fire of London. He organised fireworks on the roof to celebrate the occasion. Each of his incarnations went there to recover after a regeneration.
