Lady Thelema was the Great Houses' ambassador to the Infernal Sphere during the War in Heaven. Inhabitants of the Sphere often tried to bargain for knowledge with her.

Baphomet and Byzo once met with Thelema to trade information concerning the timeship which crashed on Earth in the Cretaceous period and created the Thaumoctopus memeticus. To prevent the spread of this information, a memeticus took over Thelema's form and killed Baphomet and Byzo using occult objects including a wooden bell, an ancient book, and a candle.

Thelema's wooden bell was later acquired by Stendec and psychometrically examined by Mace. (PROSE: T.memeticus: A Morphology)
