The Spike was the name of an orthogonal structure located in underspace, and the name of several battles of the War in Heaven fought near the structure after the Enemy hid the Vault of Heaven there.
Palatine Goralschai was involved in the final assault of the Spike. Goralschai considered the Spike to be a highlight of his military career and he later recounted parts of the fighting to the childrene of House Meddhoran. (PROSE: Against Nature)
