Nefred was one of the Deciders of Alzarius. After the death of the head Decider Draith. Nefred took his place. He recognised Login as a more respected member of society. He was troubled by what he had read in the System Files. He was killed by the Marshmen when they attacked the Starliner. As he died he revealed to Login and Garif that they had never been to Terradon.
