:Our category system is nested. That means Mars is in the '''Mars''' category, which is in the '''Sol System Planets''' category, which is in the '''Sol System''' category, which is in the ... so on and so forth. There is no need to put the '''Sol System Planets''' category on the Mars page because it's already in that category by virtue of being in the '''Mars''' category. That's what the "redundant" part means. [[User:Shambala108|Shambala108]] [[User talk:Shambala108|☎]] 23:14, October 4, 2018 (UTC) |

Why is Mars not on the Solar System page?
There needs to be a category on the Mars page to connect it to the auto-generated list of planets on the Solar System page. I made the edit, but it was removed by Shambala108 as being redundant for some reason. If you see Mars on the Solar System page list, try appending ?action=purge to the URL to see the issue. All Planets listed come from any page with the Sol System planets category.

- Our category system is nested. That means Mars is in the Mars category, which is in the Sol System Planets category, which is in the Sol System category, which is in the ... so on and so forth. There is no need to put the Sol System Planets category on the Mars page because it's already in that category by virtue of being in the Mars category. That's what the "redundant" part means.
