Cal "Spark Plug" MacNannovich was a cybernetic hyperstar in the year 5.5/Apple/26.

He was one of the guests on Platform One to watch the destruction of Earth when the sun expanded. Himself, and his partner and plus one Noxwen Van Coofen wore large, hooded cloaks and cybernetic face masks which special air was pumped into, Cal wore orange, and Noxwen Van wore purple. He survived Cassandra's attack on Platform One, and left with his partner. (TV: The End of the World)

Cal MacNannovich, along with Noxwen Van and the other survivors of Platform One, was later kidnapped by the Elth of Balhoon, who believed that they hadn't tried to help his brother, the Moxx of Balhoon and had abandoned him to die. They were rescued by the Tenth Doctor and not only forgave the Elth for kidnapping them, but offered to help him as well. Cal offered to star in a Hyperfilm dedicated to the Moxx. (COMIC: Reunion of Fear)

At some point, Cal MacNannovich presumably portrayed the character of James Bond. This version of the character was the Tenth Doctor's favourite. (PROSE: The Art of Destruction)

The Doctor and Rose once tried to find him, after he disappeared. (COMIC: Hyperstar Rising)
