Dawn French was a woman to whom Haresh Chandra was attracted. He would intentionally cook excess food in the hopes that his wife would eat more, suggesting that French was a woman of stout build. (TV: The Day of the Clown)
Behind the scenes
French played Silurian 1 in The Silurian Disruption, a sketch which appeared on her show. She also wrote the script for that sketch.
She was suggested by Sydney Newman for a possible candidate for the Doctor's Seventh incarnation.
