Darren Byford was a 3D artist credited for the two-part Doctor Who television story The Pandorica Opens / The Big Bang.
By 2012, he worked for The Mill. He served as the lead lighting artist on Asylum of the Daleks[1] and Dinosaurs on a Spaceship[2].
In 2013, Byford joined the new Milk VFX. He then served consistently as the CG supervisor from 2013 until at least 2015.
Byford worked as a CG supervisor on at least:
- The Day of the Doctor[3]
- The Time of the Doctor[4]
- Deep Breath[5]
- Last Christmas[6]
- The Magician's Apprentice[7] / The Witch's Familiar[8]
- Under the Lake[9] / Before the Flood[9]
