File:Doctor Who S8 - Behind the Scenes Stuart Aitken was a visual effects supervisor on the Doctor Who television stories Flatline[1][2][3] and The Husbands of River Song[3], working within Axis VFX.[2][3] He worked alongside Grant Hewlett and Howard Jones.[4]

He is also the creative director within Axis, which he co-founded in 2000.[5][6]

Aitken was interviewed on the episode of Doctor Who Extra which accompanied Flatline, where he talked about his work creating the Boneless.
