He was conductor and orchestrator for most of series 9, then took up the full role for series 10. He replaced Ben Foster, who was conductor and orchestrator from 2005 to 2015. King is also credited in every series 10 episode.
With Murray Gold's departure, however, Alec Roberts took over for series 11.
