Kara Dennison wrote the Iris Wildthyme short story Dolores Smith and the Birthday Bear for The Perennial Miss Wildthyme, as well as the City of the Saved short story The Tale of Sir Hedwyn for Tales of the Civil War.
In 2018, she wrote the 20th Black Archive, on Heaven Sent.
She has also written for many charity publications.
