Eoin Colfer (born 14 May 1965[1][2] in Wexford, Ireland) wrote the Puffin eshort A Big Hand for the Doctor, a First Doctor short story to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of Doctor Who.
He is most famous for the Artemis Fowl series of fantasy novels. He also wrote And Another Thing..., the sixth novel in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series.
