David Savile appeared in several Doctor Who television stories: as Lieutenant Jeremy Carstairs in The War Games, Winser in The Claws of Axos and Colonel Charles Crichton in The Five Doctors.

He had recurring roles as Lt. Cmdr. Beaumont on Warship, Charles Banks on Gems and Max Barker on Kinsey.
