The Interplanetary Pursuit was an Earth paramilitary force, organised in squadrons.
In 2310, the A Squadron was charged with the recovery of two kidnapped Earth children, Romulus and Remus Sylvest. During the mission, their ship was attacked, then crashed on the asteroid Titan III. Lieutenant Hugo Lang, who was the only survivor, later helped the Sixth Doctor to accomplish the rescue. (TV: The Twin Dilemma)
