Prince Leo was the grandson of the emperor of Constantinople. He bullied Rithros, the emperor's hostage.
His mother Princess Ariadne accused the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa and Tegan of stealing the Crown of Byzantium and put them in the dungeons, but Leo was the one who stole it. (PROSE: Goths and Robbers)
