Wires are special effects achieved by the use of wiring. Those in charge are credited as wire supervisor, or simply "wires".
Bob Schofield was credited for wires in The Shakespeare Code, and was again credited for this role in series 10 and 11. Max Schofield joined him for The Return of Doctor Mysterio.
