Stanoff Osterling was the writer of the plays The Captain's Honour and The Good Soldiers. He was considered to be a playwright the likes of William Shakespeare. (PROSE: Theatre of War) Martlak called Osterling a "half-breed". (PROSE: Passing Storms)
