Janartis was a captain in the Chancellery Guard, later promoted to commander, who sided with Imperiatrix Pandora during her attempt to take over Gallifrey. (AUDIO: Warfare)
He was annoyed that Annos was promoted to Castellan above him, and was determined to get the job. He was employed by Darkel to attack her as she made a speech so that she would gain votes in the Presidential elections after the deposition of Romana II. (AUDIO: Mindbomb) Janartis was captured after doing so.
