Station Nine was a late 20th century United States military missile platform. President Tom Dering believed either Jimmy Carter or Ronald Reagan had it secretly built.
The Khameirians stranded on Earth since the 13th century planned to use the station to start a nuclear war in 1998. The resulting release of energy would allow them to reconstitute themselves. They were stopped by the Eighth Doctor and Sam, destroying the station in the process. (PROSE: Option Lock)
