Red Squadron was a squadron in the Royal Air Force which took part in the Battle of Britain in August 1940. On 27 August, Red Squadron was hunting the Luftwaffe in retaliation for the destruction of a munitions factory when Red Leader detected signs of a cloaked Heliyon ship. Despite urgent protests from the base, Red Leader summoned Red Squadron to investigate. The whole squadron was destroyed by the ship's force field.
