Lord Adamath was a member of the Order of the Black Sun and a student of galactic economy.
He was sent to the planet Desrault as a member of the honour guard of the Black Sun Elder and representative for the Rigel sector. There, trade negotiations about the uranium of the planet were ongoing with the Gallifreyans and the Sontarans. During the deals, he started a love affair with Lady Rema-Du of Gallifrey. Eventually, a plot of the Sontaran ambassador killed the Black Sun Elder, whose death represented the start of a time war between Gallifrey and the Order of the Black Sun. (COMIC: Black Sun Rising)
