Gardezza was a planet occupied by the Daleks during the Last Great Time War. The Doctor visited Gardezza before the War broke out and was known to the Gardezzans.

The Master's TARDIS was buried there for five centuries before it was recovered, (AUDIO: Beneath the Viscoid) after he had sent it there at random while trying to evade the Daleks. (AUDIO: He Who Wins)

The War Master later crashed on the planet while trying to flee from the Daleks and pretended to be the Doctor in order to ensure good will from the local Gardezzans. The Master's TARDIS had been buried on Gardezza for five centuries before it was recovered (AUDIO: Beneath the Viscoid)
