Rodney Bennett (born Rodney Charles Bennett in Devon[1] on 24 March 1935, died 3 January 2017[2]) directed three Doctor Who television stories in the Fourth Doctor era.

Before his career in television, Bennett studied psychology at King's College Cambridge. He initially joined the BBC's radio department.
