Rhondda was a valley in South Wales. West of Rhondda were Neath and Maesteg, north was Aberdare and to the east was Mountain Ash. South-west of Rhondda was Pyle. (TV: The Categories of Life)
For one of their training sessions Jack Harkness took the team, including Owen Harper and Toshiko Sato, for a couple of nights in the Rhondda. Owen recalled that he thought that by the end of it, due to frostbite, he thought he would be carrying his toes home in a box. (PROSE: Another Life)
