The Immortals were god-like beings.
Biology
The Immortals were human-like in appearance, but could change their form. They had a wide range of powers. They could teleport themselves (though they had difficulty teleporting others), had psychic powers like mind control and empathy and were difficult to kill. Individual Immortals had control over certain powers, such as Poseidon's control over the water. (PROSE: Deadly Reunion)
History

One account states the Immortals believed they were related to humans and lived alongside them. They became known as gods and witches.
During World War II, Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart was sent to Albania, where he met the Immortals and fell in love with Persephone. When she was kidnapped by Hades, he and Hermes went to rescue her.
