Chris was a volunteer construction worker for Livingspace in the early 23rd century on the colony world of Ha'olam alongside the Eighth Doctor companion Sam Jones. She lived and worked in the Eurogen Village, where she was known for her "power drill of doom". Chris dated Sam in the months after the end of Sam's relationship with Paul Hamani. They were together for an extended period of time, during which they both became known as "one half of Sam and Chris" to the other Eurogen villagers. Eventually, Chris left the village and ran off.
