Grotzits, sometimes spelt grotzis and also known as crowns, were a form of currency, usually used in the Andromeda Galaxy around the year 2,000,000. Gloria Swannicker gave the Mayor of Ricosta 500 grotzits for the supposed funeral of Lefty Lonnigan. (AUDIO: A Life of Crime)
A Zocci bought a planetary hopper off Jinko using grotzits. (PROSE: The Red Bicycle)

Behind the scenes
- No clear sense is ever given, within the body of stories considered valid on this Wiki, of the worth of a grotzit relative to Earth currencies familiar to viewers. In What's inside the Doctor Who LEGO set?, however, a clear exchange rate is given: one pound equals 52 Grotzis equals 324 Standardised Universal Credits.
