By the orders of the Dalek Time Controller, the Dalek Time Squad Leader led a three-Dalek squadron to infiltrate the Amethyst Viral Containment Station. However, Fratalin activated the force field preventing the Daleks access, but not before destroying the doors.
The Time Controller analysed the Sixth Doctor's identity and ordered the Time Squad Leader to hold him hostage. It threatened to kill all of Fratalin's familiars if he didn't turn off the force field. The Doctor goaded the Dalek to tell him why they wanted the so-called Patient Zero, but he was stunned and threatened to be killed if he didn't shut up.
Later, the Doctor insisted that the Daleks leave his companion Charley alone before he reluctantly helped the Daleks turn off the force field as they threatened to kill her too. It was ordered to destroy the generators, but Mila, impersonating Charley, destroyed the Time Squad Leader by infecting it. (AUDIO: Patient Zero)
