Ahmed was a servant of Professor Marcus Scarman during his expedition to Egypt in 1911. He warned Scarman not to open Sutekh's tomb, but his warning went unheeded. (TV: Pyramids of Mars) After he saw the Eye of Horus, he fled the tomb; afterwards, he was captured by Ibrahim Namin's priests of the Cult of the Black Pyramid, who killed him and buried him in the desert. (PROSE: Doctor Who and the Pyramids of Mars)
Behind the scenes
- Ahmed is one of two named characters in Pyramids of Mars who is not given a full name be either the TV serial or the novelisation. The other is Doctor Warlock.
