All India were a cricket side extant at least during the waning years of the British Raj. They played the MCC in at least two tests in 1926 and early 1927. In the second of these, they lost to the MCC by four wickets. (AUDIO: The Emerald Tiger)

Behind the scenes

Unremarked in Tiger is the fact that "All India" became the Indian national cricket team after independence.
