The Alien Guard — as referred to by Fourth Doctor — were the protectors of the temple in 3021 RI of an alternate timeline where Rome never fell. They tried to prevent the escape of the Fourth Doctor, Vesuvius, and Morris. (COMIC: Doctor Who and the Iron Legion)
