Saint Nicholas of Myra was a 4th century bishop of Myra, and the origin of the myth of Santa Claus. He was renowned for being a good man and he himself believed that there was potential for good in all people. (AUDIO: Fairytale of Salzburg)

Biography

When early 21st century (AUDIO: Day of the Master) Salzburg was under threat from the Krampus, Helen Sinclair spent decades trying to fly the TARDIS to Nicholas' time and place. Upon her arrival, Helen told Nicholas the story of what happened to Salzburg in the future, and she brought Nicholas there, where he faced the Krampus and defeated him. After his death, his bones were kept in a church in Myra. (PROSE: Saint Nicholas's Bones)

Legacy
