"...and I" was cast as an incarnation of the Doctor, alongside his Withnail and I co-stars, in 2008. (NOTVALID: Doctor What 1)
Behind the scenes
Given that the story alludes to the real-world movie Withnail and I, the "...and I" refers to the character of Marwood. In the real-world, this part was played by Paul McGann. McGann did indeed play an incarnation of the Doctor.
