Bill King (died 1993[1]) was a member of the special effects production house Trading Post in the 1960s. He was the visual effects designer on four Patrick Troughton serials: The Wheel in Space, The Invasion, The Krotons and The Seeds of Death. Like many visual effects designers in early Doctor Who history, he was credited under a variety of titles, including "special effects designed by" and "visual effects designed by".
After Doctor Who, he was a long-serving special effects man on both the 1968 and 1978 runs of The Morecambe & Wise Show.
