I'm wondering if there shouldn't be a separate entry for the Dyoni in the film, as differences do exist between the two versions. The film Dyoni certainly isn't jealous of Susan, for obvious reasons, and it is Alydon, not Dyoni, who shows the Doctor the Thal history records in the film. The Two Dyonisedit source

In fact, the film Dyoni plays a significantly smaller role in events than her television counterpart. --Freethinker1of1 03:35, 11 October 2006 (UTC)

I've removed references to the film version from this article. A single article, a single person, cannot be categorized both as canonical and non-canonical. In addition, Freethinker is quite right, above, when he notes the two versions of the character exhibit significant narrative differences. CzechOut | 22:13, February 6, 2010 (UTC)

Dating issueedit source

What evidence is there that Dyoni predates the Spiridon incident? The Thals in The Dead Planet and the other parts of that serial had maps of the nearest 500,000 star systems, left over from an earlier age. 66.32.104.144 20:40, January 8, 2010 (UTC)
