Frankenstein was a film adapted from Mary Shelley's novel of the same name.
On 31 December 1999, Pete watched this film on television. At the same time the deceased Seventh Doctor underwent his regeneration process into the Eighth Doctor in a similar manner to how the monster was brought to life. (TV: Doctor Who)
