A rocket painted with a red and white, checkered pattern was present in 1991 on a Treen colony which the first seven incarnations of the Doctor visited during a Multi-Doctor Event to give assistance to Dan Dare. (COMIC: Comic Relief Comic)
Behind the scenes
- This rocket is identical to the Moon Rocket from The Adventures of Tintin. Tintin was mentioned by name, as a fictional character known as such in the 21st century, in the Torchwood episode A Day in the Death, with obviously no connection drawn to the obscure 1991 comic which had implied that Tintin was instead, in some fashion, a real individual who had once visited the DWU or may even be native to it.
