Toaster was a servo-furnishing sun bed who was friends with Barbra.
Toaster was kept with other old servo-furniture on level -39 of Dreamhome. The Tenth Doctor met and befriended Toaster while trying to save Dreamhome from the Voracious Craw. When the Craw was close to devouring Dreamhome, Domovoi took over Toaster's mind and made him burn Ernest Tiermann to death with his ultraviolet tubes. The strain of this was too much for Toaster, and he collapsed. (PROSE: Sick Building)
While visiting Valcea with Iris Wildthyme, Barbra told Panda about Toaster, describing him as a "sexy old reprobate". (PROSE: Enter Wildthyme)
Behind the scenes
Toaster appears as a main character in Magrs' Lost on Mars trilogy.
