The Holy Ghanta of Yeshe Tsogyal was a bell and a holy relic of the Det-Sen Monastery.
History
The bell, named after Yeshe Tsogyal, the wife of emperor Trisong Detsen, was placed in the monastery by Padmasambhava.
In 1630, the bell was given to the First Doctor by a reincarnation of Padmasambhava named Oddiyāna, instructing him to return the relic in 50 years time. (AUDIO: The Secrets of Det-Sen)
In 1935, the Second Doctor, Jamie McCrimmon and Victoria Waterfield visited the monastery to return the bell. (TV: The Abominable Snowmen)
