The Last Voyage is the sixth release in the BBC's exclusive audio range. It was performed by David Tennant and written by Dan Abnett. Released by BBC Audio as a part of their ongoing line of original, single-actor plays, it went on sale on 7th January 2010, a week after Tennant's final televised adventure was originally broadcast.
Originally promoted as being the final exclusive-to-audio Tenth Doctor adventure (including in the pages of Doctor Who Magazine #417), it has now been announced that a further story, BBCR: Dead Air, is scheduled for release in March 2010.
Publisher's Summary
The TARDIS materializes on board the maiden voyage of a pioneering space cruiser, travelling from Earth to the planet Eternity. The Doctor has just started exploring the vehicle when there is a loud bang, a massive jolt and a flash of light. Soon he discovers that nearly all the passengers and crew have disappeared. Unless The Doctor and flight attendant Sugar MacAuley can take control and steer the ship, they could crash-land -- or stay in space forever!
