Invalidity

I believe this story should be valid for the same reasons that were discussed at Talk:The Doctor Appears (TV story). This page was created and invalidated by the same user as that one and has a similar level of acknowledgement of Doctor Who as an in-universe thing as that one.

I have linked the video at Tardis talk:Video recommendations if anyone wants to see the story for themselves. Borisashton 01:46, 2 December 2020 (UTC)

Yes! Fair enough. The only slight difference I can find between the two situations is that the YouTube upload of The Doctor Appears explicitly credits Matt Smith as playing Doctor Who, whereas the corresponding phrasing for The Doctor Drops In is "Doctor Who star Matt Smith materialises for a special appearance". So arguably, this could be argued to be the same situation as Matt Smith's appearance in Doctor Who at the Proms in 2013.
However, just because it could be argued doesn't mean they'd be right to argue thusly. For one thing, Smith eventually breaks character in Doctor Who at the Proms, whereas the title and script of The Doctor Drops In unfailingly treat him as "the Doctor", a time traveler; it's only the retrospective YouTube description that raises any doubt that this is the Doctor rather than Smith. Secondly, just because it could be argued doesn't mean it has been argued.
As per Tardis:Valid sources (emphasis mine):

If a story was intended to be set outside the DWU, then it's probably not allowed. But a community discussion will likely be needed to make a final determination.T:VS

This is certainly not a straightforward "nobody could possibly argue…" sort of case, so a community discussion would be needed if anyone wanted to invalidate it. As I pointed out at Talk:The Doctor Appears (TV story), it would be problematic for an admin to make an arbitrary decision in these matters, let alone an anonymous IP user from years ago.

Overlaid telephone number & URL

Should the telephone number ("03457 910 910") and the website ("bbc.co.uk/rednoseday") get pages? The Doctor seems to make reference to the show itself, so is it possible that these were considered """canon"""?
